Great for homeschool, classroom or youth group settings…

Arranged in six, readily-digestible sessions the course covers everything from the Big Bang, stars and elements to life, evolution and people. All you need are copies of God’s Cosmic Cookbook plus the new Teacher’s Notes and associated Student Worksheets. No previous scientific expertise or training is required to lead the course.

The Teacher’s Notes and Worksheets will be downloadable free-of-charge from several sources post publication. Expected release date early September… Watch this space! The materials feature a range of questions and activities encouraging students to explore the scientific topics presented, see how that science can sit comfortably alongside faith in God, and develop their own views. All the questions and activities can be applied flexibly depending on the age-range and interest levels of the young people you are leading.

The course also gives students an opportunity to explore questions at the intersection of faith and science; questions that may have no simple right or wrong answer. Discussions in these areas help youngsters think these things through for themselves and teach them to be open and respectful of the different views and perspectives of others.

Elizabeth Cole

After becoming a Christian as a child and training as a Chemist at university, Liz has spent a successful and happy career in the analytical instrument industry specialising in techniques for measuring toxic gases and bad smells.

She is a firm believer that science and faith both honour our creator God and is enthusiastic to help Christians without a science background see that there is nothing to fear from modern science.

Published in 2023, Liz’s first book, God’s Cosmic Cookbook, is written for 8-13 year olds. With gentle humour throughout, it presents God the chef talking young readers through how to make their own universe at home step by step - from the Big Bang to people!
