Wonderful reception for God’s Cosmic Cookbook
God’s Cosmic Cookbook and the Faraday Institute for Science and Religion got a fantastic response from visitors to the Church Resources Exhibition at Sandown Park last week.
It is such great news to see Christians embracing modern mainstream science and exploring how it glorifies God and enriches their faith and understanding.
Our small stand looked amazing – thank you Faraday – and it attracted a constant stream of visitors. People from churches and Christian organisations across the UK and beyond really saw a need for what we were offering and the reception was overwhelmingly positive. Cara Parrett (Faraday Youth & Schools) and I were hoarse and delighted at the end of each day.
We were there to promote God’s Cosmic Cookbook and its associated new Teaching Course alongside Faraday’s extensive library of science & faith resources and services for kids and churches. We didn’t expect people to buy many books at the exhibition, but Faraday’s stocks of God’s Cosmic Cookbook were sold out by the end of the show. What a great 2 days!
CHRISTIANS in SCIENCE Conference
Catch us at the Christians in Science conference in Swindon this weekend (23rd and “4th Oct). I’ll be there to talk about the book and my presentation ‘A-VOID-ABLE’, stressing the importance of connecting science and faith for children, is at 2.00 on Saturday.
